Michael L. Orcutt, a
native of Ann Arbor, Michigan, has more than 35 years of leadership
experience with Domino’s Pizza. By age 17, he was a store manager
and later started supervising several Domino’s locations. Mike
continued to climb the corporate ladder and in 1985, became
Southeast Regional Vice President based in Atlanta. Mike went on to
become Vice President of Operations for Domino’s Pizza in Ann Arbor.
In 1989, Mike
returned to Atlanta. He started his franchise with 9 stores and
soon thereafter purchased eight additional stores. Since that time
his company, Cowabunga, Inc. (named by its managers) has grown to 79
locations.
Cowabunga, Inc. now
has 1,200 employees and is the largest singly-owned franchise in the
United States. The locations are located in Georgia, Alabama and South Carolina.
Offering a rare
blend of creative and operational strengths, Mike is recognized for
his success and ability to quickly identify and overcome sales and
growth obstacles. Additionally, Mike has always been passionate
about taking care of his Team Members. This is reflected most with
his efforts in starting the Domino’s Pizza Partners Foundation, a
non-profit organization established to assist team members in time
of special need or tragedy. Since its inception, the Partners
Foundation has helped thousands of Domino's Pizza team members and
their families with financial, emotional, intermediary and advisory
assistance.
